Delaware-Muncie Metropolitan Plan Commission

The Delaware-Muncie Metropolitan Plan Commission (DMMPC) is the Planning Department for the City of Muncie and unincorporated Delaware County (see Planning & Zoning).  The DMMPC is also the office for permitting and zoning code enforcement the unincorporated Delaware County (see Building & Enforcement).  The DMMPC is the designated Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) for the Muncie Urbanized Area, charged with carrying out federally mandated transportation planning activities (see MPO Transportation Planning).

Board of Zoning Appeals (BZA)cases to be heard on May 25th, 2023 (click on the case number for more information). Please be advised that if you are planning to attend the BZA meeting in person you should call the office at (765) 747-7740 and reserve a spot in the audience. Due to capacity limits, entrance may be denied if you are not on the reserved seating list. Occupant capacity for the Commissioner's Courtroom is 86 people, including Board members and staff, according to Indiana Fire Code, Section 25.114.
