Employee Survey

The Commissioners and Council are requesting each department's help in getting feedback from employees regarding a couple of program ideas. These ideas are designed to hopefully save the County some money in efforts to prevent possible decreases in staffing.

Please distribute this questionnaire to your employees. Responses must be submitted by noon on Friday, August 12.

Note: Emergency services (Sheriff, Jail, 911, EMS) does not need to respond to the first question.

Question 1

Are you in favor of working a 4-day workweek? For example: the offices would still be open 5 days a week. But employees would work four 8-hour days (8:00 am to 5:00 pm - a total of 32 hours, each employee would lose 3 hours per week). Some staff would be off on Mondays, some on Fridays, flexing schedules to allow the offices to be open 5 days.

If the County were to have a health clinic available to those on the health insurance and any eligible dependents on the health insurance at no cost to you (no co-pay, drug or lab costs), would you use the clinic?*
