Take a stand in the fight against cancer by wearing blue on Friday, March 4th to support Colorectal Awareness Month. Everyone in Delware County is asked to help make colon screening a prority among those over 50.
Colon cancer is often highly treatable . If it is found early and treated, the five-year survival rate is 90 percent. But because many people are not getting tested, only 40 percent of cases are diagnosed at this early stage, when treatment is so successful.
