Parcel Maintenance
A parcel becomes eligible for the tax sale if the taxes or special assessments are delinquent from at least the prior year's spring installment. Delaware County Treasurer's Office tracks the delinquent taxes and special assessments.
List of Special Assessments:
- Delinquent Ditch Assessment: Surveyor's office - A one year delinquency will list it in tax sale.

Sewage Liens: Muncie Sanitary District Assessment - Unpaid sewage liens will be recorded at the Delaware County Recorders Office, will list the property on the tax sale list.

Weed Cuts: Muncie Street Department Assessment - This assessment is attached to the property and also puts a property into the tax sale.
- Stormwater Fees: Stormwater Management-A one year delinquency will list it in tax sale.

Contact the Tax Sale Clerk at 765-747-7717 for additional information. The property may be redeemed up to one year from the date of the tax sale.
