Food Division

 
The food division enforces the sanitation codes regulating the food service industry in Delaware County.  This applies to year round retail food establishments, as well as, temporary facilities, vending and farmers markets.  In addition to enforcement the food division oversees:
 
  1. Construction Consultations;
  2. Plan and Review;
  3. Complaint Investigations;
  4. Food Sample Collection;
  5. Education Presentations;
  6. Student Training;
  7. ServeSafe (food handlers certification); and 
  8. Food Borne Illness Investigations
