Food Division
The food division enforces the sanitation codes regulating the food service industry in Delaware County . This applies to year round retail food establishments, as well as, temporary facilities, vending and farmers markets. In addition to enforcement the food division oversees:
- Construction Consultations;
- Plan and Review;
- Complaint Investigations;
- Food Sample Collection;
- Education Presentations;
- Student Training;
- ServeSafe (food handlers certification); and
- Food Borne Illness Investigations
