Environmental Division

The Environmental Section of the Health Department is responsible for the following possible hazardous conditions & inspections listed below.
  1. Animal bite complaints and rabies control;
  2. Hazardous material spill response;
  3. Housing Inspection for possible lead contamination;
  4. On-site sewage disposal system;
  5. Public bathing beaches, swimming pool inspection, & private pool consultations;
  6. Tattoo & Body piercing parlor inspection;
  7. Trash hauler inspection program;
  8. Inspections for unfit housing;
  9. Vector control-mosquito control; and
  10. Water well inspection, testing, and permits.

Septic New Installation Application- $75.00
Septic New Permit- $37.50
Septic Repair Application-$ 37.50
Septic Repair Permit- $37.50
Septic Installer Registration- $75.00
Tattoo Artist Permit- $75.00
Tattoo Establishment Permit- $300.00
Pool Permit- $75.00
Trash Hauling Permit- Primary Truck- $25.00   Secondary- $15.00
